MENTAL MEANDERINGS...TRAVELING THROUGH THE MIND OF THE ENSAYN

Today is July 4th, I guess I am supposed to say something about the U.S.and their dealings in Libya,  Afghanistan, Iraq, and any other place where the tentacles of the United States will extend.  Maybe I should say something about president Obama and his policies on jobs, economics, his handling of the wars or maybe his ignorance of African Americans in the belly of the Beast.  Of course, the beast is the entire western hemisphere.  Or should I mention Fredericks Douglas' speech on the celebrating of July 4th.  Maybe I should rail against the celebrating of Independence Day by Black people, African Americans, Moors or indigenous melanted (is that really a word?) people in these here United States and her surrounding islands.  Maybe I should say something about all these things.  But, I won't.  Nope, I am sure there are plenty of African American bloggers covering that angle and you will be fed properly on their regimen.

But, I do  have some questions and solutions on this July 4th.  But, I gotta start with the questions.  There is an emerging so called conscious community within the U.S. more specifically coming from the east coast, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and the surrounding New England area.  KRS ONE says, "many philosophers live on the low..."  I can empathize with his sentiment.  There are many that study, and study loving wisdom and are able to retain and even apply this knowledge, wisdom and information.  Many of the new street philosophers learn, retain and apply what they learn to their everyday life.  However, they still continue to maintain a certain disdain for using the American version of English correctly.   Dr. Phil Valentine appears as a guest on many of the "conscious" community Blog Talk Radio programs using the American language correctly.  Dr. Jewel Pookrum appears on their programs and uses the American language correctly.  Dr. Sebi comes on your programs and uses the American language correctly.  Why don't you?  Why do you not learn to say words correctly?  Why do you revel in mispronouncing words such as autumnal as automal?  Even mispronouncing the Italian name of Machiavell as Makavelli or griot (French gree-oh) as gree-ahts.    If you know our history you will know indigenous people of the world created language and speech.  Why do you think that it's ok to not speak American English (or any other language) incorrectly when we are the makers and creators of language and speech?

Often those of us that try to view things in a different way are misnomered "conspiracy theorist" even though it makes sense that the conspiracy could be.  Now, I don't believe all conspiracies occur in a dark back room filled with stogie smoking white aristocrats.  Or, even on Jekyll island, GA.  There are some instances that are accepted by the people in certain lines of work or fields of endeavor that this something will not be covered as news.  This substance will not be aired even on TMZ, ET or other entertainment television "news" tabloids.  For instance, December 2010 Pope Benedict XVI said the following,

 "In the 1970s, pedophilia was theorized as something fully in conformity with man and even with children,” the Pope said.

“It was maintained — even within the realm of Catholic theology — that there is no such thing as evil in itself or good in itself. There is only a ‘better than’ and a ‘worse than’. Nothing is good or bad in itself.”

  This is the spiritual leader for millions on our planet.  These are his thoughts spoken  during his Christmas address to the Cardinals.  Never saw, heard or read this tidbit of papal wisdom on any major news outlet.  Somehow, without meeting in a dark smokey board room, these statements weren't on any major news station in the United States.  So, why?  Why hide it?  This is news, these are the pronunciations of God on earth, right?  Shouldn't this be aired, widely?

"Yo, giving shout outs to the brothas in the shoe, in the pen doing their time..."  Every time I listen to so called conscious radio programs it's this..."we just wanna let you know we're thinking of you while you're doing that time."  For real Mr. Dee Jay?  Political prisoners are becoming few and far between these days.  They're aging and dying.  They're getting out of prison by work done by law firms and organizations like the Innocence Project.  Now, a lot of the brothas on lock down NEED to be on lock down.  There are some bad people that need to be removed from society.  They choose to be bad.  They plot their destiny, and follow the course.  There are brothas in the pen that have robbed and raped people.  They are not political prisoners.  They are criminals.  We can blame it on crack babies, single parent homes headed by woman (which I believe is bull, that's another subject), or 50 percent drop out rate among African Americans.  I maintain this has nothing to do with any of above.  One can choose to do wrong or right, period.

I don't even know if I have a question for this one.  The European Union has basically sanctioned pedophilia.  This is most disturbing and enlightening at the same time.  It shines light on the heritage of white Europeans.  I make a distinction because there were and are Black people that are European, and have been for millenniums, not recently from the Caribbean or Africa.  I make the distinction that such lower chakra behavior was ever part of our cultures world wide.  I may be mistaken, but until that time which I learn differently I will maintain my stance on this one.  I am going to leave you with this quote from The European Union Times. 

"Booklets from a subsidiary of the German government’s Ministry for Family Affairs encourage parents to sexually massage their children as young as 1 to 3 years of age. Two 40-page booklets entitled “Love, Body and Playing Doctor” by the German Federal Health Education Center (Bundeszentrale für gesundheitliche Aufklärung – BZgA) are aimed at parents – the first addressing children from 1-3 and the other children from 4-6 years of age.

“Fathers do not devote enough attention to the clitoris and vagina of their daughters. Their caresses too seldom pertain to these regions, while this is the only way the girls can develop a sense of pride in their sex,” reads the booklet regarding 1-3 year olds. The authors rationalize, “The child touches all parts of their father’s body, sometimes arousing him. The father should do the same.”

Gregory Issacs Dies At Age 59 Today!

The Washington Post  is running the story of Mr. Gregory Issacs passing in England this morning.  Best known for the hit Night Nurse, and his own soulful style Gregory Issacs will be truly missed in the world of Reggae and as a great contributor to Reggae music. 

Born in Kingston, JA.  July 15, 1951.  1979 was the year I really paid attention to Gregory with the Soon Forward album and of course he blew up the place with Night Nurse in 1982.  1983 he released Out Deh, which was for me one of his best.  Every song was tight and you never wanted to fast forward (not skipping tracks in those days...lol) on this one.  Not only was he known for his love songs but, also songs of the times with tunes like Black a Kill Black and Rumors, just to mention a couple.

I had the good fortune of seeing Mr. Issacs in concert on a couple of occasions and was never disappointed.  Mr. Gregory peace be with your family and peace to your soul.

Do You Believe in this political system?

Carey of the Carry Me Home blog posted a sentimental take on how Black people should be "careful" with our history as a guest writer on the Afrospear.  Referring in the end to those that criticize president Obama's tenure in office.  After a few comments, Carey finally lowered the typical derailing type boom of a response at the Freeslave and at the desenters of his opinion.  "To those that believe they are “free men or free slaves”, I question what solutions they have for the problems in America, and why do they live here? I mean, if they do not believe in the political system in this country, where would they live that has a better system?" 

Well sir, I will deal with only one of you questions that are most often asked by the conservative types, "... I mean, if they do not believe in the political system in this country..."  My first thought was "is that all you got", but I said to myself I would go ahead and play along.  Straight to the point, absolutely I believe in this political system...at it's core that is.  The giant corporatized stinking monster that it has become, no.  This political system as it is today is not what was intended by those that wrote the constitution ( I cannot for the life of me bring myself to say founding fathers.)

The system as it was set up was not to be overrun with lobbyist at every turn of the corner offering and giving "gifts" for votes to go their way.  Nor, was it designed that congress persons would accept expensive "gifts" in return for voting the way of the corporate lobbyists.  Nope, it was not.  The system was set up to be a representative government much like the indigenous American way of council, based on the Iroquois Confederacy's Great Law of Peace.  Sechems, would go to council as a full fledge representative of the people, and ruled solely by the will of the people.  In fact the custom of senators and congress person dropping their names today and becoming the Senator from Georgia or Congressman from California is directly related to the original council of indigenous Americans, truly representing the people.   The system as it is today is not a representation of the people, nor is it a representation of the will of the people.  This system has taken the people to be fools, yet the people allow themselves to be fools by often saying things such as "I don't want war but they (the government officials) know more than us".  I say hogwash! They rarely if ever bring the truth to the people, they bring propaganda for the dumbed down minds that we as a population have become. 

Get Rich or die trying...A devil philosophy!

Watching the events unfold in Jamaica over these past few weeks, have been like seeing the words from the book Confessions of an Economic Hitman come to life  When I posted Air Jamaica and the Jamaican Dollar, I was wondering why this was happening to the Land of Wood and Water.  There must be a plan behind what was going on, but I, not being privy to the inner workings of government, could only speculate that there was a force pressing down on the island from outside.  Sure, we can look back and see the escalation of what appears to be a destablization of the island since the very begining of the 1980's, but who and why, would not reveal itself for nearly 30 years.  Thus, many could only deal with the issue at hand, the soaring crime rate, the devaluing of the Jamaican dollar and the apparent corruption of the government, government agents, government agencies, and greedy people exploiting hungry people.  Rest asurred, hunger is not only an empty belly. 

But, this is not about Jamaica, simply because Jamaica and her surrounding sister islands are only pawns on a much larger chess board.  This is really about us.  The events in Jamaica are symptons of a wider sickness that encircles the globe.  Many blame it on the exportation of "American values", that ,what is happening there and in other places is the acceptance of the lower standards of American morals and mores.  I don't believe this is truly the case.  Many Black people have accepted a station in life that centers around making dollars, gettin' money.  It's now acceptable to hear one say "I can't knock that man, because he's making money."  Really?  One cannot knock what another does simply because the other is making money?  Getting money has become the panacea for the ills of a stunted people, for those that have little in their hearts and maintain less in their minds.  The greed of those that hold the reigns of government are being reigned in by another set of greedy and controlling hands, and all too many of us fail to see, or look for those hands.  We are not seeing the exportation of American morals.  What we are seeing are the affects of the continuing saga of colonization.  Europe has never stopped her need for natural resources, or actually the need for the manipulation of stock markets through natural resources, which includes the bodies of human beings (remember every job had a personnel office, now its HUMAN resources.)  Thus, we are seeing the affect of mental and psycological colonization for the capturing of Nature's goods.  But, we have allowed this to happen.

Reverend Martin Luther King Jr., in his 1963 speech in Washington D.C., said that he longed for a day when we would be judged by the content of our character and not by the colour of our skin.  Not long after this speech, the content of the character of a person became less and less important.  And the desire for great opulance became the order of the day.  Within ten years of this speech, the U.S. dollar became the worlds currency.  It maintained no value unless it was moving, nothing else.  It was no longer backed by any precious metal. It became an inflated vehicle by which to OBTAIN THINGS, and our attention was changed to just that.  The desire to obtain THINGS.  Though it seemed, we were moving in a direction of "moving on up", alll the while we were being directed towards a lower state of mind.  We gained jobs we never had before, we gained status on a scale, that we, in a wider sense, had not acheived prior to World War II.  We began to seemingly, attain what the white world was holding.  In just 20 short years, from the 1970's to the 1990's, the message all around us became get money.  It was seen on the covers of magazines, television commercials and most notably it was being hypnotically chanted in music.  The belief, that having money will cure your ills, has been achieved by a few, and passed on to the many only as a fantasy.  It no longer matters how one gets the money, but that you got it. 

No longer does the general population care about the content of ones character, but that if he or she has gotten a lot of money they should not be denied their accolades.  This has been the story of old Europe that continues today.  Destroy a people, move them if you have to, and get the resources to make money.  This is not an American export, but a European imperialists' concept, and the U.S. has become the militariy wing of Europen namely Britain.  We have played into this concept.  Bought it, hook line and sinker   Getting rich or the belief that one day one will get rich has become the opium of Black people.  No longer is the content of one's character a valued "American export."  

Christopher "Dudus" Coke is the Osama Bin Laden of the Western hemisphere.  He may no longer exist as a living being (he may still be right there in Jamaica, although I doubt it), but his name is to be carried forward for the purpose of war.  Jamaica, along with Haiti has long been coveted(since their independence?) and now the time is right for an new British expansion played out by her latest and greatest military power, the U.S. military.  Minutes after the earthquake in Haiti, the U.S. Coast Guard was on station off the coast of Port-Au-Prince to secure the Haitian ports.  Then came more talk about Haitian deep water ports in January of this year.  By February, Jamaica solidifies its deal with the harlot, signing a 127 billion dollar deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and continues their quest to get into the oil business.  Jamaica has been working on this since as early as 2004 and had stated their oil plans would come to fruition by the end of 2010. 

The British march on, devouring and consuming at the cost of her minions.  She has never cared about commoners whether they be those of us of a darker hue or even her own lower class whites and Irish people.  And, yet our desire to get money and become rich supercedes our desire to develop good character.  This is the only way the mantra of "I can't knock that man, because he's making money" can be allowed to survive and flourish.  Until we learn and understand that the beast can be defeated by defeating the beast within everyone of us, we will continue to die and be jailed.  The bible tells us that our people die for lack of knowledge.  Unfortunately, the bible doesn't tell us what that knowledge is.  But, our ancestors have told us repeatedly, that it is the knowledge of ourselves.  Until we accept their teachings, many of us will continue to perish.
