For Those Who are Pan Africanist And Black Liberationist That Chant Jesus and Allah!

From the mouth of a daughter of the Congo!

She's a young woman, seeking an understanding of life. I can't listen to a youth, and ignore my elders. Like so many who believe that Jesus belongs only to the white man, she misses the point of who God truly is. God is not in the name that we give Him. He is spirit and truth. If we call him Obatala, Oshun, Jehovah, Allah only speaks to the language we use--not the reality that we are speaking of. Of couse, there are those who don't worship the true and living God but other spirits--and they have names for those as well.

God is Wisdom that calls out to whoever will listen. And that the European came in and usurped the name of God for himself and spread lies upon lies about God through their wicked actions, this thing that the white man has done is what keeps so many people broken spiritually and far away from God.

I look to my ancestors who DID believe in God, (not the white mans translation of God) My ancestors who lived with the holy spirit residing in them and who were strengthened to bear the pain of living in a fallen world. This day and age we have disdained our african american ancestors. We claimed them to be fools for believing in God, when we are the ones who are lacking--respect and understanding.

I respect my african culture, and I respect my african american culture as well. They are connected. What is a true shame is the way we african americans are quick to throw away what belongs to us. Look at the brutal struggle that we have endured! We have survived and even thrived!! With the constant assault that we have to endure, not only from whites, but sometimes from other blacks within the diaspora. And even from each other! Yet here we are still standing. And yet we deny God.

It's not foolish to believe in God, for He IS! The proof of God is everywhere in plain sight. Too often we listen to the wrong people when it comes to who we are as a people. We believe the lies that we are told, that we have contributed nothing to humanity. We seek for the lie instead of the truth.

We are a great people--we black folks who ended up in North America, USA!!!
It behooves us not to forget that fact in spite of everyone who wants us to believe we are fools. The one who points at you, calling you a fool has three fingers pointing back at himself.

Peace

Anna Renee, Are there those that rever and believe Jerusalem and Mecca are the Holy Lands over anywhere on the continent?

Another question; Are you saying those that call upon a Allah, Dambala, Obatala or The Great Mystery are addressing the same "Spirit" as, you when you call the name of Jesus or Jehovah?

I cringe everytime I hear people of African descent assume that the Universal God, the One who created the entire Creation, the One who spoke to Moses, is the God of White People only.

Mankind is one and there is only one Supreme God who created one Human Race.Regardless of how evil human beings have behaved towards one and other.

All ancient people worshipped many gods. Some people still up to this day. There is only One Supreme God. Why worship many small gods when you can go to the One and Only, Supreme, Powerful, Almighty God?

Let us get this clear up right here , the picture of Jesus we see all over the world is definitely not the way Jesus ever looked. Also, today, Jesus, the Lamb of God is a Spirit who sits at the right hand of the one and only God in the heavenly and Spirit realm.

People of African descent have not learned to channel their Godly, spiritual abilities to create the rightful power to prosper and effect the change that is necessary and needed throughout the black world.

There are laws that govern this world we live in. Asians, Arabs and Europeans have been able to use the God given laws of nature for their own advancement,. Black people need to learn from this.God has not changed.God promised to bless mankind. God cannot lie.

Before God winked at ancient people in the way they worshipped and created many mini gods. These were all ways to get back to the one God. God knew he was going to send Christ to redeem mankind and bring his estate or his Creation back to His fold.

Whenever we see blacks within religion, it is always about rituals and celebration, then they go back home to a powerless situation.Black people have a romance with being powerless. Being powerless is not of God. God wants us to be powerful in Him. God is all Power. Anyone who worships God should be powerful.

Of course the right and perfect power is the one that comes from God; because although Asians Europeans and Arabs have been channeling God's power through the laws of nature, they do not have God's real power .They have only been allowed to prosper.
And Africans have been the spectators in this sideshow(world history for the past 500 years) always blaming everyone under the sun for their problems and suffering.

I would love to see black people stop crying and blaming others and go directly to the God of Creation , not only for singing and dancing during Sunday worship but for God's power and grace to effect the change that is needed in this word for Black people.
God is not going to spare black people his love and care to fulfill his promise to bless us all.

There is no conspiracy throughout the Creation to keep black and African people down.Black people have been so used to being down that they believe this is within God's plan.

This is why I ignore all those who cannot stop blaming the West and the white man for black people's problem. The only problem here is that the African has failed to get it.

Saludos...

Ana, that is some real talk. I do understand and feel your main point here. Black people, over all, appear to have this comfort level with being low on the totem pole so to speak.

Peace!
