BLACK ATHEIST...IS THERE SUCH A THING?

There used to be a saying, something about there are no atheists in the foxhole.  Having never been in a foxhole under conditions of a fire fight, I will only surmise that to mean all humans call on the unseen when bullets are flying.  As a youth, I often felt this same way about the black community.  There was no such thing as a black person that was or is an atheist, period.  It, to my young mind, was impossible.  Black people just believed in "God" some kind of way.  Ok, maybe some didn't embrace Christianity like most of us did, but they believed in something.  So I thought.

Today, I often hear black atheists on frequent radio programs, the most recent, was on Love Productions Nicky Love's Blog talk radio program.  There was a black man on the program that is a member of Black Atheist of Atlanta.  And actually, he was very clear about his position and just why he is a black atheist.  Having read Stolen Legacy by George G. M. James, I was quite familiar with the angle in which the guest took on his definition of a black atheist.  True knowledge was presented in the book Stolen Legacy when the author notes the influx of people from the city states that later became known as Greece began venturing into Kemet to learn from the foundation of metropolitan civilization.  Anaxamenes, Anaximander, Pythagoras, and Socrates all lived in Kemet to study the Way of the Kemetans.  To become "learned in all the Wisdom of the Egyptians..."  For this, they, the Athenians, were later persecuted and put to death for brining "foreign gods" into their country.

The foreign gods, in this case were the Spirits of Africa.  The Spirit of Mathematics.  The Spirit of Music.  The Spirit of Sacred Geometry.  The Spirit of Word Sound. Spirit.  For this the Greek Masters were persecuted and put to death.  Thus, the black atheist's point was that Theos was a Greek god, an that he being one that is in line with Kemet, he could never be a Theist simply because he is aligned with the very gods the Greeks were killed for introducing into Grecian society.  He then is away from Theos, thus an atheist, fittingly.  Based what he said I agreed.  Thus, my previous notion of us "believing something" was valid.  As I listened, I found I was still incorrect.

Mr. Black Atheist, then began to speak about science.  That he could prove scientifically all things in his perspective.  For me, the listener, this sounded like he was saying he could prove his point via logic and reason and that would be the determining factor as to whether he won a point or the host or even a caller would score a point.  I understood right then that he was in fact a worshiper of Theos and not representing Kemet at all.  He was in fact representing whom he speaks of as his nemesis.  Logic and Reason alone are the gods of the Greeks.  Founding your premise on Logic and Reason alone are not representations of Kemet.  This pattern of thought that so encompasses the Conscious Community's major concepts is not a foundation based on our ancestor. so much so that "science" is wielded like a sword of persecution on those that don't succumb to "science."  This alone diminishes the power of right brained thinking and backhandedly wipes the feminine principle from the foundation.  It was the Cobra and Vulture that proceeded from the forehead of the Kemetan Emperor's crown not solely a Serpent or solely an Avian, but both.  Balance/stability.

Dr. Phil Valentine once said that all is not mathematics, but that mathematics are only an explanation of a thing or an event.  We have to question from whence the science comes before it is wielded in combat.  To confront using "science" only, then the black atheist sides with the Greeks and not Kemet.  Or more appropriatly sides with the Theos following Greeks that killed Socrates, Anaxinamder and Anaximenes, all of whom promoted balanced thought/foreign gods to the Athenian society.  Logic and Reason alone are not African, it is not aboriginal.  Logic and Reason alone are foreign unbalanced gods and when promulgated by black atheists then they are introducing foreign gods into our collective.

Greece fell into another recession and is considering leaving the Euro as their currency.  With this it brought to mind the prediction by Lindsey Williams in October 2011 that this would happen.  He then went on to say the dollar would die by December 2012...What do you think?

This was the snappy retort dashed upon me as if the person were throwing a bucket of water on a consuming fire.  There seems to be some honor attached to considering one's self to be the decedent of slaves.  The retort came after I introduced the idea that white people didn't come to the shores of west Africa and snatch up their human game, stored them below deck and made a wicked voyage across the deeply green Atlantic ocean to the eastern shores of the Americas to sell their manifest human cargo to waiting buyers.  No, she WANTS to be a child of a slave.  Not simply a slave by virtue of first becoming a prisoner of war, but snatched from her African village where she lived without problems until Ofay appeared and took her from her happy home.  Just like that.  To me that smacks of the nadir of the humanity of some African nation and not the supreme zenith of the African that so many in the Americas worship.

What is the value that has been attached to being the descendant of an African slave?  The conversation was sparked by this same person touting slavery as an honor, berating a group of Africans as the stupidest people ever.  Yet, at the same time they want to be one of them from long ago.  Some astute, so called white person, could certainly ascertain from this that the person denigrating the Africans, then in the next instant stating they were one of them snatched away by the almighty white European from their African home to become a slave in America as saying they were glad to be captured by the white man because they have now become so much better in the Americas than the "stupid" African that was left behind. This, to me, smacks of mild a form of insanity.

We are in fact, more correctly, the descendants of prisoners of war.  We fought wars throughout Europe, Africa and Asia.  No white man came to Africa and took people without a fight unless there was some complicity by other Africans such as the Tinubu family of Lagos.   The realization that we covered the Earth and were not merely trapped on the continent of Africa is the first lie we have to dismantle.  When the great and learned Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr. practically cried on screen because he found his ancestral roots in Ireland and not Africa I felt such shame for him.  Here is a man educated at one of the highest institutions of learning in the United States, holds the highest degree to be earned and yet he is ignorant of our great past.  He apparently didn't know of the power we held in the British Isles and were finally unseated from power in 1455 upon the defeat of the Dubh Glas or Black Douglas' Clan. It seems he had no knowledge of Adam Marsh in the 1200's (you do the knowledge on the name Marsh) that was institutional in making Oxford University what it is today. Nor could he stand on the defeat of the Moors in Spain in 1492, after holding power, meaning bringing enlightenment to Al Andaluz for more than 700 years.  So, you tell me what is the value of proclaiming to be the sons and daughters of slaves, when you can be the sons and daughters of great nobles the world over?

DR. UMAR JOHNSON MILITARY SCIENCE...WHAT'S THE HOLD UP?

Dr. Johnson I hear you.  I agree with you on the strategy. I love the idea of creating economic stoppage if protest is to be affective in this society.  What I am wondering about is the battle field. Why wait to implement your strategy? There are many many Trayvon Martins dying every day, not by the hands of a so called white man but, by the hands of someone that looks like Travon.  Why not begin NOW??? In the town where I grew up, there was a large Naval air station that was close by.  We would watch the F-18's and E-2 Hawkeyes as they practiced touch and go every day, off and on all day long.  They would practice night landings.  These pilots would practice touch and go to hone their skills for landing and takning off of aircraft carriers. 

There are no soldiers or marines on this planet, there is no sailors or airmen on this planet that do not practice their craft.  Why then wait until an issue arises that will pit black against white to put into action your strategy?  There are great opportunites to help clean up black people by implementing your strategy now.  There are small skirmishes taking place in every major city in these here United States.  Why not implement immediatly as a kind of touch and go practice.  Put into action now, where so called black people are killing themselves and their women. Put it to work now.  There are enough bodies in the morgue to implement and start by saving us from us. 

Yes, Dr. Johnson, this is a great strategy but, we don't need to wait for another Trayvon incident to happen.  Do it now.  Get in the practice .  Your strategy can be put into play, honed and this way you can work the kinks out.  The by product will be an improvment for black people.  When the next white on black killing occurs, and it will happen, there will be a greater chance for success.  Otherwise, it does really sound like a good strategy.
