President Obama don't talk like a white guy!
When are Black people going to stop being led by the nose by white folk emotions? Harry Reid said exactly what many many white people feel and think on a daily basis. It seems to me Black people would have collectively released a huge "whoomp there it is" in response to Reid's comments. But, nope, there are many Black people that are up in arms right along with the white people who are up in arms. But, they, white folk, are only upset because he let out a bit of their "inside the house" commentary. We know or should know many whites feel that darker skinned Black people are more intimidating to them than lighter skinned Blacks. Yet, many of their historical Black nemesis' have been of the lighter skinned variety such as Huey P. Newton, El Hajj Malik El Shabazz (Malcolm X if you don't know) or Nelson Mandela. But, they tend to some how cling to their dark psycho-sexual nightmares of raids by Desalines, Marcus Garvey or Nat Turner.
What I find most upsetting is the assumption by whites, that speaking correclty and properly are equal to speaking like a white guy! As if white people have the market cornered on right and correct speech. Whenever I hear President Obama speaking I know immediately that a Black man is speaking. Just as when I hear Min. Farrakhan or Rev. Jessie Jackson speaking, I hear proper and correct speech but, I don't hear a white guy when they're speaking. President Obama is not dark skinned like his father nor does President Obama speak with that bland white guy Michael Savage/Glenn Beck whine. Really and truly President Obama doesn't speak like a white guy. So, why should Black people be upset with what Harry Reid said? He spoke his mind, confirmed what many of us know and believe and embarrased his white counter parts, that's why they're angry. They pass off their anger as if they're defending Black people, when they're really upset he exposed their "inside the house" speak. I need no defense on this one, thank you good white folk.
