Amazingly the justice system in small town USA is not justice.  The same judge, J.P. Mauffray, who convicted Mychal Bell on the aggrevated assault charges and conspiracy, will flip his perverbial hat and will sit as the judge in the juvenille court.  The same District Attorney, Reed Walters will be arguing on behalf of the state against young Mr. Bell.  How the hell is this justice??????

 

Andrew Meyer, is given the "Rodney King" treatment when he attempted to ask Sen. John Kerry if he and President George "Dubya" Bush were part of the same secret society, The Skull and Bones.  Meyer was dragged out and tased while yelling "I did nothing wrong."  White folk are feeling the pinch that Black people have dealt with forever.  But, of course, they are never given the "fullest extent" of the law as Reed Walters promised the Jena Six.  Since their arrest, and almost railroading into the jail system, a few of the parents of the Duke Lacrosse team members and some of the teammates themselves have gone to Jena in support of the Jena Six.  Wonder why mainstream media is not reporting this?  Well, Kerry in his normally wimpy style said of the arrest of Anderw Meyer "whatever happened, the police had a reason, had made their dicision that there was something they needed to do.  Then its a law enforcement issue, not mine," he told the Associated Press in Washington.  Guess he didn't want the questions to lead to he and Dubya being distant cousins to each other and the Queen of England!!!!!

Kendra Bull was arrested on some bull back on the 10th of this month for over salting a burger and serving it to a police officer.  The beast came back in after eating half the burger and said it made him sick.  So, why not just ask for his money back?  Anyhow, this beast, Black Beast mind you, comes back in and accuses Ms. Bull of laughing at the matter, then arrests her. A single mother working to take care of her child arrested by a Black police officer.  I bet he is in church every Sunday praising the Lord. Then goes to work and arrest a single working mother, Black mother.  Good Christian, huh? 

The basic issue here is the abuse of police authority going on in the nation.  People are being killed, arrested and harrassed consistantly.  This nation is heading down the road of revealing itself as a true police state.  Arrested for over salting a burger.  Arrested for asking a question.  Facing 15 years for a school ground fight.  What next???!!!

Bruce Golding Elected Jamaica's Eigth Prime Minister

Bruce Golding Prime Minister.

It appears Bruce Golding will be sworn in as Prime Minister of Jamaica.  Mr. Golding won the general election with only 60.4 percent of the electorate voting, meaning 39.6 percent of the voting population stayed home.  The win, was by a very small margin with the Jamaica Labor Party (JLP) taking 33% of the vote to 27% for the the People's National Party (PNP), this could all change due to possible recounts that have been called.  One would think there would have been a greater turn out for the vote since the PNP had been in power since 1992 under the leadership of former Prime Minister Perceval J. Patterson (1992-2006) and outgoing Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller (2006-2007), the first woman to be elected president of the PNP and the first female Prime Minister of Jamaica. 

Like most elections Jamaica is not to be out done.  There are allegations that two of the JLP members, Shahine Robinson (St. Ann Northeastern Constituency) and Daryl Vaz are in fact U.S. citizens and are not qualified to sit in parliament.  The second of two motions have been filed in the last 10 days with the Jamaican Supreme Court concerning this allegation, a hearing is set for September 13.

So what does this all mean?  As I pointed out before, during the Bahamian general election, that, the Caribbean is under the thumb of the all powerful United States. It's not strange that the U.S. may possibly put "agents" into the seat of power of another so called "autonomous" nation.  Is this an estention of Operation Kingfish?  However, we will wait and listen for the results of the hearing in a few days on the Robinson/Vaz hearing.  I wonder how much will change for the poor, the working poor of Jamaica with the election of Mr. Bruce Golding?   Can he undo the damage of Bill Clinton destroying the banana market for Jamaica?  Can he revitilize the Jamaican economy?  Can Mr. Golding prepare the Jamaican economy for the coming demise of Fidel Castro and the opening of Cuba into the tourist business?  Time will tell.

Slave Labor; The Prison Industrial Complex; And The Jena Six

In light of the recent miscarriages of justice going on in Douglasville, GA, Cobb County, GA and Jena, Louisiana where 6 Black youth are being railroaded into prison for a fight. Not a beat down, but a fight. The white youth was hospitalized for a three hours and released. He attended a ring ceremony at 7pm the evening of the fight. Mychal Bell, Robert Bailey Jr, Carwin Jones, Theo Shaw, Bryant Purvis, John Doe are now facing 15 years, for a fight.

Will Chandler a high school student at Wheeler High School, located in Cobb County, Georgia is now facing FELONY charges. He and two other friends left the school campus for lunch, and upon their return school police stopped him, searched the car and found a Swiss Army knife under the armrest console of the car he was driving. The knife was placed in the car by his mother as a safety precaution as suggested in the September issue of O Magazine.

Genarlow Wilson is sitting in prison now for having consensual sex with a 15 ½ year old teenage female where in the state of Georgia the legal age of consent is 16. So,you may ask what is going on? Answer, SLAVERY.

The Thirteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution;

Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction

Slavery is not over. There are 2.3 million people locked away in state and federal prisons in the U.S. to compete with the cheap labor outside of the United States. Prisons are using prisoners to make mattresses, eyeglasses, furniture and much more. Oakhill Correctional Institute in Dan County, Wisconsin crowds 17 inmates into a basement factory to make millions of dollars worth of office furniture. The state of Oregon has been advertising their prison work force and factories claiming that businesses that utilize incarcerated workers would otherwise outsource their labor. Prisoners are paid as little as $.45 to $1.50 per hour, they are taxed on the money paid. In the cases where they refuse to work they are denied canteen privileges, moved to disciplinary housing and “good time” credit is denied that would slice time off their sentences.

It appears to me the push for “prison slaves” is a driving factor behind the increase in long sentences for many minor offences. Companies like TWA, Nike, Planet Hollywood, K-Mart, Target, McDonalds (for uniforms), Dell Computers, Victoria’s Secret and Eddie Bauer are just some of the businesses that are using the “slave” labor by the prison industrial complex.

Councilman C.T. Martin of Atlanta is introducing an ordinance to criminalize "saggin" and even the occasional bra strap that may be visible.  This will produce more police contact between police and the young, more arrest records and of course more petty arrest.  Councilman Martin do you have stock in any of the private prisons in Georgia? D. Ray James prison, Coffee Correctional facility or Wheeler Correctional Facility, perhaps?  All of which are part of Correction Corporation of America, CXW on the New York Stock Exchange.  Humm, I wonder about his motivation for this.  I hope this may shed some light on why the United States locks up more people into prison than any other nation on Earth!

The Continuing Mis-Education Of The Negro: Sepetmber Carnival for The AfroSphere

We are a juncture of time in which the power of the mind is most essential for the combat that has been forced upon us. Our very existence depends on the ability to think with a balance of logic and emotion. Now, that the new battleground, is out minds we MUST learn to access the greater portion of the brain, the 90%, that we are said not to use. Countless psychologist are employed by advertising agencies to pierce this level of the mind. These psychologist work to define which colours, sounds and musical notes will appeal to our senses, to sell you on their product or services. There is a constant barrage of commercials and music to stimulate the various parts of our brains for the shear point of selling to the mind that is not aware. In previous decades, the school systems around the country were directing the youth on a path of thinking by emphasizing the process of logical thought as part of daily learning. For instance, one was taught how to write a proper paragraph which followed a logical pattern of thought expressed in words.

Today, there is an emphasis on reaction rather than action. The school system has virtually abandoned the logical processing of information for the reactionary response to information . This is largely visible by the multiple choice, form of testing. Multiple choice doesn’t force the child to THINK of the answer, but merely “recall” what may be the correct answer to the question posed. In essence, multiple choice form of testing, will only prove, in the long run, what the child doesn’t know, rather than proving what the child actually had learned. The result is teaching our children to react and not to act, which is not logical thought but the ability to respond to a particular situation or stimulus. This “reactionary” form teaching is in fact “mis-education.” This is why we often see our children arrested and charged with a crime, with no logical explanation as to their actions. About three years ago, in Forrest Park,, GA a youth was convicted of murder after firing a 9mm pistol into a crowd of children attending a birthday party and killing a thirteen year old girl. The child was quoted as saying “…I didn’t THINK anyone would get hurt when I shot the gun…” The lack of logical thought could be the only explanation for such a comment attributed to the youngster, who was only fifteen himself. Mis-education is the purposeful effort by and agency to lead one or one’s thoughts. We often see out children lead to the penitentiary, instead of higher learning.

The information students receive in schools, colleges and universities is, at its worse, prescribed doses of psychological tampering. Propaganda. In no way should schools teach that Columbus “discovered” America, that George Washington was the first president, that all the Indians were killed by the almighty European, that the Greeks created philosophy, or intimating the Ancient Egyptians were “white.” At its best, the school systems give students a basis of how to learn, how to research. For instance, a student in medical school is not learning how to be a physician, but, is being equipped to function in the medical environment, to be taught, once she or he is employed as a resident ,how to become a physician.

It is our responsibility to educate ourselves. Our very existence, our very ability to live freely in the world is based on how and what we think. We can and do, chart our daily course based on how and what we think. It is a must that we teach our children how to phonetically read. We must teach them how to use the language we speak, properly.  To pronounce words correctly. What we read or don’t read, what we think and don’t think, will come forward out of our mouths, giving the world insight into you as a person and to us as a people. Lastly, Negro is defined in Black’s law dictionary 4th edition as chattel, as property owned by another person devoid of skin colour. Therefore, the mis-education of the negro is the mis-education of a population of a people. Of Slaves.
